Whether it’s rooftop restaurants with a view or Michelin-starred talent at the stove, London’s latest openings are serving plenty of excitement this month.
Coming Soon - Fenix Mayfair
Following the success of Tattu, the high-end Chinese restaurant with skyline views at the Now Building, the same team is set to bring another of their ventures to the capital – Fenix.

Currently only open in Manchester, Fenix will make its London debut in the former Henry’s site on Piccadilly, which closed in mid-2024. Perfectly placed beside Green Park station, the glamorous flagship location will feature 160 covers and a central live charcoal grill with counter style dining. A standalone bar will complete the experience.
The new site will offer a sharing-concept menu led by executive head chef, Ippokratis Anagnostelis and head chef Zisis Giannouras, focusing on innovative plates inspired by Greek traditions and mediterranean flavours.
Fenix is due to open in the winter - late 2025/early 2026; more details on the official opening date will be announced soon.
A Bold New Opening in Mayfair
The team behind two Michelin-starred Bermondsey restaurant Trivet has partnered with COMO Metropolitan London to open Labombe by Trivet on Old Park Lane. With its own entrance within the five-star hotel, the new restaurant brings playful sophistication to the storied Met Bar, with wine and food at its heart.

Led by Head Chef Evan Moore (The Fat Duck alumni) and Master Sommelier Philipp Reinstaller (UK Sommelier of the Year 2024), Labombe continues Trivet’s philosophy of harmonising food and wine. Co-founders Jonny Lake and Isa Bal have developed the opening menu together with Moore, showcasing dishes influenced by culinary traditions from Italy, Spain, Turkey and Australia. Expect European-style snacks and small plates – from bottarga toast and gurnard crudo with orange ponzu to wild mushroom pici – alongside larger dishes such as grilled monkfish with braised coco beans, sweetbreads Grenobloise, and costoletta alla Milanese. Desserts include crème caramel with Campari caramel and a seasonally changing frangipane tart.
The extensive wine list features rare pours by the glass or bottle, complemented by classic cocktails paying homage to the Met Bar’s legendary 1990s past. Designed by Umay Çeviker, the warm, elegant interiors centre on an open kitchen and striking glass wine cellar housing over 1,000 bottles.
India and Dubai’s China Bistro to Make London Debut
After winning fans across India and Dubai, China Bistro is bringing its bold, flavour-led dishes to London with a new opening in Ealing Broadway this month.
Known for its vibrant “retro-Chinese” style – a distinctive cuisine rooted in Kolkata’s Tangra district – China Bistro celebrates a culinary tradition that emerged in the 1930s, when Chinese Hakka immigrants blended wok-fired techniques with India’s bold, spice-led flavours. The result is comforting, fiery and utterly unique.
The menu spans freshly folded momos, live robata grills and wok-tossed classics. Highlights include chicken basil dumplings, edamame momos with truffle oil and togarashi wagyu hot off the robata, rounded off with sweet favourites like crispy honey-drizzled darsaan.
The 90-cover restaurant pairs its olive-green interiors, inspired by ancient Chinese warriors, with an open kitchen and live dim sum counters, creating a buzzy, immersive dining room designed for long lunches, lively dinners, and everything in between.
Signature cocktails, fragrant jasmine teas and Asian-friendly wines complement the bold, spice-forward menu.
Already a multiple Time Food Awards winner, China Bistro’s London debut is set to bring one of Asia’s most exciting culinary traditions to West London.

Thai SELECT Award for Supawan

Congratulations to Supawan in Islington, which has been awarded the prestigious Thai SELECT 2-Star certification, a recognition by the Royal Thai Government for serving truly authentic Thai food. Founded by chef Wichet Khongphoon, Supawan is known for its warm hospitality and 'Eat Well, Be Happy' philosophy – a fitting reflection of the values behind this accolade.

Lilibet’s Brings Royal-Inspired Dining to Mayfair
Mayfair has welcomed a restaurant with a truly regal connection, Lilibet’s, which takes its name from Queen Elizabeth II’s family nickname - as it sits on the site of her birthplace at 17 Bruton Street.
The restaurant, which fully opened this week, comes from acclaimed restaurateur Ross Shonhan, whose impressive career spans Nobu, Zuma and international concepts, such as Netsu and Strawfire. At Lilibet’s, he combines timeless glamour with a playful, Mediterranean-inspired menu, taking an indulgent approach to the best of seafood, with unique dishes of timeless elegance to savour and delightful.
Dining here promises an element of theatre, from a dramatic seafood platter served on a bespoke lazy Susan to a ‘fish triptych’, where guests can choose their catch to be prepared three different ways.
Chop House Spirit Arrives in the City

Liverpool Street Chop House & Tavern is the latest addition to The Evolv Collection.
Just moments from Liverpool Street Station, the new restaurant celebrates the best seasonal produce with menus built around British favourites. Khao Bird opens in Soho this November
Restaurateur Mike Palmer and Head Chef Luke Larsson are opening Khao Bird, a new two-floor Northern Thai BBQ restaurant and bar on Brewer Street, Soho – on the former site of the district’s last adult cinema.

Following their year-long pop-up above The Globe Tavern in Borough Market, the team now set down permanent roots in the West End.
Drawing on years of research trips across Northern Thailand and Burma, Larsson showcases contemporary interpretations of hyper-regional dishes, centred on live fire cooking. Expect prawn khanon jeen – cold fermented rice noodles with minced prawn curry and mustard greens – and rich khao soi with beef brisket, alongside Burmese-inspired tea leaf salad, Shan BBQ meatballs and their playful take on beef larb, substituting Campari for the traditional blood and bile. Vegan and vegetarian dishes also feature throughout.
Guests are welcomed at a curved stainless-steel bar serving snacks like house-made beef jerky before entering the main dining room, where the open grill takes centre stage.
Designed by architect Ben Spong, the 78-cover space blends raw steel, oak and Thai crafts. Drinks, overseen by sommelier Zeren Wilson, draw inspiration from Chiang Mai’s vibrant bar scene, with Thai beers, draft wines and herb-laced cocktails.
