On a warm summer's evening, the group gathered at the newly-opened Seventy5th Balcony Bar, situated on Level 5 of the Royal Festival Hall.

They were able to enjoy panoramic views of the River Thames and central London skyline as they enjoyed a selection of drinks and canapés.

Heather Clark Charrington, Director of Audiences, welcomed guests to the Southbank Centre.

The Hayward Gallery

The Concierge were then invited to the Hayward Gallery, a world-renowned contemporary art gallery and a landmark of brutalist architecture.

They viewed the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition, the largest European retrospective of one of Japan's most celebrated artists (ends 31 Aug).

This thematic exhibition, featuring more than 150 works in drawing, painting, sculpture, installation and ceramics, reveals enduring influences on the artist’s work, particularly nature and its mythology, the peace movement, the significance of home, and his interest in punk and rock music and popular culture.
