New beginnings are on the cards as Concierge across London move into exciting roles at some of the city’s leading hotels.

'Lord' Paul Whittle has started an exciting new chapter as Executive Head Concierge at The Stafford London.


Winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Where Golden Keys Concierge Awards, Paul has a remarkable career in hospitality under his belt, having worked at some of the world’s most respected hotels, including Le Méridien, The Dorchester and Royal Méridien Bahrain.


Paul’s journey began behind the scenes as a luggage porter, and over the years, it has grown into a career defined by quiet excellence, consistency and genuine care for guests. A recipient of the Clef d’Or Lifetime Achievement Award 2025, and currently serving as an International Delegate for the Society of the Golden Keys & Commonwealth, his dedication to 'Service Through Friendship is felt far beyond the hotel doors'.


Announcing his new position, a spokesperson for The Stafford London said: "Bringing with him a five-star approach and a natural warmth, Paul is already a wonderful addition to the team. We’re proud to welcome him to The Stafford family and look forward to the experiences he’ll help create for our guests."

Pastures New for Petar Yordanov

Petar Yordanov leaves the InterContinental London Park Lane

Winner of the Service Through Friendship Award at the 2025 Where Golden Keys Concierge Awards, Petar has said farewell to the InterContinental Park Lane after an 11-year term.

Petar's journey now takes him to The Dorchester, where he will serve as Head Concierge.

In a recent announcement, Petar said: "Yesterday marked the end of my 11 years at InterContinental London Park Lane, and what a journey it has been! I started as a Concierge Coordinator, climbed my way to Head Concierge and had the privilege of leading an amazing team that has become a family to me. There have been many colleagues that became friends, and many many memories we will share. Although I am starting a new and exciting chapter of my career from the new year, this goodbye was always going to be bittersweet."

He added: "It is with great gratitude that I’m proud to be starting a new chapter at The Dorchester."

A New Team Member


Also joining The Dorchester is Jefferson Camacho, who leaves the Hilton London Bankside after more than four years.


Announcing the move, Jefferson said: "I’m very thankful for the experience I gained at Hilton London Bankside, which helped shape my journey in hospitality. I’m especially grateful to my mentor, John Kortenray, for his guidance, support, and belief in me throughout this time. I’m also excited to join the team led by Petar Yordanov MIH as Head Concierge, and I look forward to learning from his experience."


He added: "I step into this role feeling proud, grateful, and motivated to deliver the highest level of service in luxury hospitality."


New Beginnings for Thomas Gaffney


Thomas Gaffney is delighted to be joining the pre-opening team as Concierge at Six Senses London.


Leaving his position as a Concierge at The Londoner Hotel, Thomas said: "This chapter has meant more to me than I can easily put into words. Being part of the Front of House team at such a special property has been a privilege, filled with unforgettable moments, incredible colleagues, and a shared passion for genuine hospitality.

"One of my proudest achievements during my time here is becoming a member of Les Clefs d’Or, a milestone I’ll always be grateful to The Londoner for supporting me through. It represents not only a personal goal, but the standards, mentorship, and teamwork that surrounded me every day."


He added: "A very special thank you to Tom Wardley and Alex Collins for their guidance, support, and mentorship over the past four years. Your belief, leadership, and generosity with your knowledge have played a huge part in shaping my journey, and I’m truly grateful.


"As I move on to my next chapter, I do so with immense gratitude and pride. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey, the memories, lessons, and friendships will stay with me wherever my career as a Concierge takes me."
