Concierge & Guests Head to the West End

Dozens of Concierge and their friends and family enjoyed special performances of the West End hit Matilda The Musical and the brand new show, The Great Gatsby.

This new musical, at the London Coliseum, is being described as 'a feast for the eyes and ears - nothing short of spectacular' (London Theatre Review) and 'heartstoppingly beautiful' (Time Out). With an 18-person orchestra and a cast so spectacular you can't help but get to your feet, this truly is dazzling.

'The most opulent musical in the West End' (Metro) playing in its biggest venue, the London Coliseum, is now on for as strictly limited season. 

One of those who watched the show was Mario Narciso, Head Concierge at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.

He said: "Thank for the opportunity to watch the Great Gatsby. The show was great - from the production to the stage and actors; one of the best musicals I've ever seen. Highly recommend!"

Matilda The Musical is the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the beloved book by Roald Dahl. With a book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.

Winner of more than 100 international awards, including 24 for Best Musical, Matilda is now the 15th longest-running production in West End history.

Sahil Suri, Head Concierge at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, enjoyed Matilda with his daughter, Amber.

He said: "I took my daughter to see Matilda and she was mesmerized from start to finish. But honestly, I think I enjoyed it just as much as she did!”
