The international delegation gathered in Stockholm for SHPF Les Clefs d’Or Sweden’s 100th anniversary.

The three-day visit combined the centenary celebrations with The Society’s annual Executive Committee Strategy Meetings, bringing together committee members and official business partners to exchange ideas, share insights and discuss future priorities.

Two productive meetings provided an opportunity to explore initiatives to strengthen the Society and enhance collaboration between members and business affiliates. Contributions from business partners were particularly valuable, reinforcing the importance of working together to support the concierge profession.

A highlight of the visit was a spectacular centenary gala evening at Stockholm’s iconic Vasa Museum, where delegates reconnected with colleagues and friends from around the world while forming new relationships founded on the spirit of service through friendship.

Society President Binoy Nair said: "Thank you to Swedish President, Johanna Picano for facilitating our trip and attendance to the celebrations.

"We also used the trip as an opportunity to hold a full day strategy meeting and plan the way ahead for our Society."

Discussions, celebrations and strategising was on the plan in Stockholm

A Society spokesman said the visit was made possible through the generous support of Platinum Sponsors Golden Tours/Gray Line London, represented by Mikesh Palan and The Tourism Media Group, represented by Rob Way and Christopher Johnson.

Binoy added: "A big thank you also goes out to Mikesh Palan, Rob Way and Chris Johnson for being part of our discussion and imparting their wisdom during our talks."

Returning from Stockholm inspired by the discussions and celebrations, the delegation looks forward to sharing its ideas with members and turning strategic priorities into meaningful action over the coming six months, building a stronger, more connected and forward-thinking Society.
