Les Clefs d’Or GB Team Make the Quarter Finals
The Society of the Golden Keys Football team once again took part in the London Hospitality Festival's Football Tournament.
Sporty members of the the Society took part in the 17th edition of the annual festival in Queen Elizabeth Walk in Barnes, London.
The team, captained by Valentin Chiscop, Head Concierge at London EDITION, won six matches, drew one and lost only two of the nine games in the preliminary stage.
They were knocked out in the Quarter finals by the ultimate winners in the competition.
Society chairman, Binoy Nair, said: "A big shout out to all the players for doing so well after just one round of practice; they were cheered by various affiliates and keys members who came to support them.
"A big thanks to Jorge Alvarez who organised our participation and was instrumental in getting the football shirts adorned with logos of our sponsors."
He added: "Last but not the least, this would not have been possible without the support from our affiliates who sponsored the shirts and provided the food and drink for the team - Air Courier, Bicester Village, Mirpuri Bespoke London, Mazza coaches, London Serenity and Elegance Chauffeurs
Binoy pledged: "We promise to come back stronger next year!"
