Jesus Christ Superstar Arrives in the West End

The acclaimed Regent's Park production of Jesus Christ Superstar arrives in the West End, starring Sam Ryder in his debut role.

The award-winning Regent's Park Open Air Theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar is playing at The London Palladium until 5 September before transferring to Theatre Royal Drury Lane from 16 October to 9 January.

Making his West End debut, Sam Ryder stars as Jesus in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary rock musical, which tells the story of the final days of Jesus Christ through the eyes of Judas. Featuring a score that helped redefine musical theatre, audiences can look forward to iconic songs including I Don't Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar.
The production also stars Tyrone Huntley as Judas, with Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richard Armitage, Boy George, Layton Williams and Julian Clary sharing the role of King Herod.
Directed by Tim Sheader, this award-winning production features choreography by Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie and design by Tony and Olivier Award winner Tom Scutt, bringing a fresh energy to one of the world's most celebrated musicals.
